Nobody can possibly deny his love and passion for Everton FC, but I think for the benefit of both parties he needs to move on. Go and gain some actual managerial experience elsewhere before he can possibly be considered for the top job at Everton.

I think both club & Dunc are taking eachother for a ride & neither are benefiting from it. He's got to get experience outside of Everton. Experience working under several unsuccessful managers at the same club is not the same.
It's like running on a treadmill compared to running outside. One is in the comfort of your home or a warm gym. The other is dealing with wind resistance, rain, potholes, curbs, cars, bicycles etc etc & works your body much harder.
Get off the treadmill Dunc & go on a proper run.
