Taking off the blue tinted glasses

Just laugh at the posts and look forward to the next brutal piping down he gives them when they start to pipe up.

I have no doubt that he will. And Bolasie too.

And it'd just reinforce the point about them.

The "piping down" would have to be a run of 10 games or so of good performances, rather than one every now and then. A goal or the odd decent cross once every game after 89 minutes of nothing doesn't cut it for me.

I don't buy into this whole "our squad is actually crap" view. EVERY footballer can press, EVERY footballer can make runs, EVERY footballer can pass 5 yards.

The difference is, ours CBA to do it. I don't think we have a title winning squad, far from it...but the displays we've put in, haven't been from having a crap squad, it's having a lazy squad.

We did it for 70 minutes against Spurs, where has that team gone...?

The short of it.

We are a team that has most of its first 11 guaranteed every week and it has been that way now for YEARS. Baines/Jags/Coleman/Barry/Barkley alone all have a first team place no matter how bad they are playing, lukaku has no replacement and now Bolaisie knows he is guaranteed to be in that team.

Maybe, just maybe, the reason why the players aren't arsed about anything is because they know no matter what they will play and worst comes to the worst it will be the manager that gets kicked out the club before they are.

We won the title either side of lineker's season. Spurs won nothing when Allen scored 47.

I personally would sell if we got top money. On the basis that I don't thinks he's arsed. And is already, with his agent probably plotting his next move.

But if we can get him to commit to the club with a new contract, then RK should build the team around him and go 442 with wide midfielders that work hard, but can put quality into the box.

Or 433 with the two either side of him. Being more forwards than wingers, and getting double figure goals.

In both systems, there would be no place for Barkley or geri, Mirallas or even bolasie
Over to RK
There is no way Lukaku will sign a new contract at Everton, he can't get away quick enough, problem is nobody wanted
him at the the price Everton were asking for him in the summer, I'm praying he scores plenty of goals between now and
January, it will help our league position, more importantly we will get a good price for him, which will suit me fine as long as
all the money we get for him is spent on new players.

This is why some of the younger players should be introduced, to give the rest a kick up the backside and give the side/fans a much needed shot in the arm. The young lad Sims of Southampton showed more endeavour than our eleven put together. Lads like Davies and Holgate must be wondering how they'll ever get a chance.

It's interesting just 13 games in and this sort of thread is understandable given what has been served up so far.

I agree that Lukaku isn't likely to sign a new contract and as I said before the start of the season come the end of the January window the possibility, although I agree unlikely to happen, is that he can quit using the Webster ruling.

The whole feel of the club, the players, the supporters indeed everything seems strange and far from the manager being a positive he too seems far from happy.

To date there hasn't been any net investment and the reality for me is that the team whilst perhaps not in turmoil is a distance from where most on here expected it to be at this point namely a huge 12points from top and 9 from fourth and that's after having played for just 39 points.

Yesterday was not good ,nor was the game before that or that and had August/ September yielded 14 points then the atmosphere on here would be a whole even stranger but it's just 5 points from 6 games in October and November and looking at the 6 December fixtures I am far from sure those six games , based on what's currently being served up, will see any better return

Things need to change and rapidly at that
