I wanna be The Esk

Looks amazing.

Was a tremendous experience seeing the Red Sox play the Yankees - Yankees absolutely hammered them 10-3.

Amazing stadium, reminded me a lot of Goodison Park in that it's history was so apparent, it is a special place, like the 18th at St Andrew's, centre Court at Wimbledon - as you approach you get the feeling of the history of the place, the great dramas that have occurred over the years.

Baseball fans have to be the friendliest in the world - an old guy was sitting next to my son who told him he was visiting from the UK, first baseball game etc. anyway the old guy disappears for a while and comes back with a Red Sox shirt and an autographed baseball for my son. Refused to take money for them so I bought him beers and a hot dog.

By the way the amount of ale and food that is consumed at these games is enormous!

Fantastic experience!

If you're coming from England on can only hit one baseball stadium, you absolutely picked one of the 2-3 best. As a Chicago native and Cubs fan, I'm partial to Wrigley Field ;)

That's fantastic, and it's true of most ballparks. The fan-friendly atmosphere is amazing.

Fenway is one of the best. Some of the newer ballparks are great, but few produce the ethos that Fenway and Wrigley have.

Most baseball fans are friendly, but you got a great experience. Probably that guy's been going to games at Fenway (maybe even in that seat) for most of his life. You won't get that treatment at every ballpark.

Can't imagine doing it any other way.

I don't know what the hell the Brewers are doing. I seriously don't have the slightest clue.

So yeah, back to the normal for Milwaukee baseball. And by that I mean games lose all meaning sometime in late May.

Life of a smallish market club. They had their run, now its time to clean house, rebuild and get the bills paid. They'll be OK, but it will take a couple years. I think you got a good owner there.
