A weird one this isnt it. For me its a none starter but ive always been curious as to how couples can mentally prepare for this. How does this even get brought up in conversation between a couple.

Don't think so mate, I'd have to ask him to make sure, but I got the impression that it involved having sex with people that you actually liked and knew fairly well rather than just having it off with anyone. He got into a fairly niche scene due to an interest in erotic photographry so, I'd guess, it wasn't "swinging" in the sense that most people would think of it. Not that there's anything wrong with that though like.
