When you present posters on GOT with open goals you have to expect us to take them, pretty much opposite to our playersOuch. Not exactly encouraging folk to stay active / take up the sport from a young age is It?
Still got my 10m badge sewn on to my trunks.Anyone got any Swimmy Badges ?
Andy Burnham brought out free swimming for kids & pensioners as part of an Olympic Legacy (certain times etc) but then the Tories scrapped it, they carried it on here in his constituency but eventually it got stopped when the Govt cut the Budget to Wigan Council.just been stung for £11 for swimming with the kid.

You're right. But with central govt squeezing local authorities and so many other things competing for funding, leisure is always going to be at a premium.Ouch. Not exactly encouraging folk to stay active / take up the sport from a young age is It?
