I've been to Thailand a few times, and had street fruit bags with a little sachet of a dipping mix.

I've tried replicating it at home. 3 parts sugar, 2 parts salt & 2 parts chilli flakes.... combined with tropical fruits, dipped in or sprinkled over, it's delicious
