Swansea in decline?

Bob Latchford

Player Valuation: £35m
Ive just noticed via BBC that Michu will be moving to Serie A side Napoli on a season-long loan. I'm surprised at this given how important he was season before last. Maybe no one cares, but given what they tried to do and how they tried to play the game they seemed to be on to a good thing.

Question is, with Laudrup leaving and talk of Bony, Davies and Pablo Hernandez to move on, could this be the beginning of the end for the Swans? (they've already lost Emnes and DeGuzman who have returned to their parent clbs after loan spells) Maybe I'm jumping the gun, but I don't like how things are shaping up for them.

@BrianSwan

they've signed emnes.

i think i've heard rumours that michu was finished by that injury, he did look utterly woeful when i saw him last season, so wouldn't be at all surprised. think they're in for a long hard season though sadly, should just stay up with burnley and WBA almost certainties imo to go down.

Dont we have more money than Napoli and need someone to play Osman's/Naismith's position?

Michu is meant to be finished?

Also didntthey sifn rhe dutch lad who used to play for inter?

The problem is not the players they have / have sold.

the problem is Garry Monk being terrible for them. He will be the one to send them down.

Hope they don't. They're a good club. Would be good for English football if a young manager like Garry Monk can do well with them and keep up Swansea's continental style of football. Jefferson Montero could be a good signing for them.
