Out of curiosity would anyone prefer Everton to win the FA Cup or Europa over survival in the Premier League?

I am getting concerned about our EUROPA performances - compared to the league. Martinez is definitely giving priority to Europe and it has obviously affected our league form and it has now implemented our season into what looks like a relegation fight.

Surely we won't be a repeat of Wigan?

In the entire history of the fa cup, only one team has ever won it and got relegated in the same season.

In the entire history of the uefa cup, no team has ever won it and got relegated in the same season.

Generally speaking staying in the top flight is a lot easier than winning a trophy. Teams who can't do one, can't do the other either.

So don't worry about us winning a trophy and then getting relegated. We'll just get relegated, no trophies involved.
