PRECISELY, YOU SLICE YOUR CHEESE WHILE THE BREAD IS TOASTING THEREFORE SAVING YOURSELF PREP TIME AND GETTING TO GORGE SOONER

step 1: place toaster on its side

step 2: place cheese on bread in toaster and engage its mighty engine

step 3 place plate approximately 15 inches from toaster

step 4: wait with a jar of branston in one hand and a knife in the other

minimum waitage for gorging. Bingo

Lancashire cheese. It melts better rather than going all bubbly.
Sliced.
Splash of Tabasco habanero and a grind of black pepper.
Bread toasted first, then add cheese and yam it under the grill.
No to ketchup.

Cheddar, toast both sides of bread. Add a layer of mayonnaise to one side, place cheese on top, splash with Lea & Perrins
and grill until bubbly.

A more adventurous one and some will turn their noses at this but it must be tried first. Cheshire cheese, toast both sides of bread. Add a layer of jam, cheese on top and grill.

Favorite cheese to lash on toast? Seriously Strong cheddar, the orange version.
Why? Because it's seriously strong Avi.
Method? Toast one side of bread under grill, flip then apply thickly sliced cheese to untoasted side, melt under grill and apply sauce to flavour.
Any preferred condiment? Either HP or Tabasco Habanero sauce, depending on the mood.
Additional items? Smokey Bacon crisps on the side.
Big no-no's? Cheese slices. Saw someone make cheese on toast with them before and felt physically ill.

So, here's a relevant question here.

If "guns don't kill people, people kill people", then does that mean that "toasters don't toast toast, toast toast toast"?

Hahaha. Mobile rep young man.

Back to the op. I like extra mature cheddar because it's got a nice strong flavour. Don't add anything to it as this would ruin said flavour. And my current technique is toast bread in toaster, put cheese in between slices

WITHOUT MELTING IT!!!!

I'm a cheese on toast renegade ffs.

Favorite cheese to lash on toast? Any strong cheese

Method? Grill one side of toast, turn over apply cheese, place back under grill
Any preferred condiment?
Reggae Reaggae sauce
Additional items?
no
Big no-no's?
