Now & then I look somebody up on Wiki & surprisingly discover they were actually born or lived a part of their lives in Liverpool.

For example, those old enough to remember the 80s music scene might recall the pop group, T’Pau. I never knew the lead singer, Carol Decker was born in Huyton on 10th September 1957;

....those who like watching The Guns of Navarone every Christmas may be surprised to learn that the very lovely Gia Scala was born in Liverpool in 1934. She dated Steve McQueen & was known as one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood;
