The final next year is in Holland at the Amsterdam Arena on 15th May 2013.

And the Champions league is back at Wembley to celebrate 150 years of the football association apparently...

Where does Italy come into this? haha.

I thought the atmosphere at Goodison was good compared to lethargic performances against Portsmouth in the past. We played well and the crowd loved it. Well worth the price of a ticket.

Also, as Goodison (without request by the PA) went into an eery silence as Madeline was shown on the screen at half time, i think the Geordies began to clap in support of the McCanns and it spread as people realised that football aside, we're all just human, and wish she was back where she belongs.

I liked the Geordies clapping first, it was a nice touch. Plus I can remember them singing about gary speed not too long afterwards.

I believe the Geordies were referring to their history with Juventus. They've played against them in the past.

It's Notts County that gave them the stripes though, which is why they opened their new ground. Did Juve give a kit to the geordies ?

I wasn't refering to the kits, ha. I was refering to when Andy Griffin (yes, that Andy Griffin) scored in the Champions League group stages v Juventus in a 1-0 win at St. James'. They lost 2-0 in Turin thanks to two goals from Del Piero. I'm suggesting they were probably singing about going to Italy because of that.
