Two years of a deadly virus that we seem to be coming out of...then the politicians and warmonger generals land us with this chilling scenario to face.

If I could, I'd hang every politician and military man who want this conflict by their worthless 'kin necks.

Mate I understand your sentiments but I am not a violent person. Many politicians in different countries are completely compromised.

What is going on is an indictment of appeasing a bully. The economic sanctions will hurt ordinary decent Russians, but the invasion is killing innocent Ukrainian citizens.

Learning today about the far Right in Ukraine is very educational but they won no parliamentary seat last election.

I am just so depressed at what my fellow humans are again capable of doing to each other.

This is going on for one reason only: the failure of the western nations - who guaranteed at the Minsk Conference that they'd demilitarise the east of Ukraine and bring stability to regions like Donbass - failing to address that conflict and walking away from it...which has handed Putin the perfect pretext for invasion.

This was a war created in the west.

I think we all give our support to a country that's been invaded. That said, it doesn't come without qualifications as far as I'm concerned:

1/ I dont support the nazis in their ranks determined to murder Russian speakers for being what they determine *not Ukrainian enough*.

2/ I dont support them to the extent that they want us to send NATO troops into their country and / or control the Ukrainian airspace...both requests that can end in us all in Europe being incinerated in a nuclear conflict. They can utterly swing it on those requests.

Nobody should like Nazis.

I am not sure about leaving them to be invaded. Do you think Putin would have gone in if NATO had said it would defend Ukraine?


What if the Russians go for Poland next, or Bulgaria. or Latvia? Do we leave them to it?
