But its worthing saying that before the forum shackled @davek with a cocktail of drugs he would have been all over this and caused two or three breakdowns by the 200 post barrier. And I'd have been piggybacking him all the way.

You say pointless wars, but how are they pointless? They keep our country safe, who else is gonna do it, YOU?

I dunno about you but i didn't seen any iraqis on boats invading our shores.

Are you gonna go to Iraq, a place in which our soldiers put their life on the line everytime they go the shop? Take a dump or even go to sleep? Are YOU gonna go?

no because 1. we had no business being there and 2. i don't like the idea of doing a job where I'm a puppet to do the governments dirty work.

No, your not, cos they wouldnt let you in the country with your tinhat on and what about the Police? The Health service? The Firemen, who all put their life on the line every single day, so you can sit at home in your y fronts spouting mindless tosh on the internet, should they be offered no respect? Cos surely they are goverment puppets also?

ok, i can see you're not the smartest chap in the world, i'll leave it here.

Yeah cos somebody called chunk who makes posts questioning why we support our troops is straight from Mensa.

Welcome number 39.

There's a difference between supporting troops and supporting the wars they're involved in. Most members of the military in both the US and the UK see it as a career path and something positive to do in life. It's the politicians who get young men and women to join the military and it's the same politicians who send them to fight 'pointless' wars. Infantrymen don't choose where or who they fight, it's not their place.

Should a war which really could decide our freedoms occur in the future though it will be the same troops fighting in Afghanistan who are deployed, they take that risk when signing up and for that alone they should be commended, in my opinion.
