In half an Hour Warrington host Wigan. Top two in the league and easily the best two sides. So, who's your pick? I'd like the wire to win it but I think Wigan are in super human form. Wigan to edge a real ruck of a game, 28 - 22.

I love the way the players (most of them) call the referee "sir" and how you can hear what is going on.

I don't understand why that isn't in football. The players should be shown up live on air for being bellends.

Good performance by Wire, but Wigan look pretty jaded after Wembley. To be honest, I don't think it matters too much who is 1st and 2nd, as both positions give you an advantage in the play-offs.

1st gives you the 'win 1 game and you are in the Grand Final' though doesn't it ? whereas 2nd doesn't. sometimes they want the continuity of playing each week though without the rest that 'straight in the final gives you' there's many a team got through the footy play offs after finishing 6th.

2nd will also have the harder game in the playoffs of the 2 as well.

Aye, that's probably true. Think I'm right in saying that few teams have won the GF from outside the top two though?

must be the intensity, although top2 are usually way ahead of the rest so it's a big ask for the others to step up, but then if Saints play Wigan form counts for nowt.

All i can see in front of me now though is the Aus v NZ game, seen them play each other in Bledisloe cup in C/ch (union), 1st time Aussies won on kiwi soil, i was all for them then but league is another matter, I've seen them maybe 20 times and NEVER seen them beaten, there is an enormous chance that will end that night.

*starts teaching my little kiwi the words for when she is in with her iwi at the halliwell jones.

Wool Rugby is pure sh*te. Union is where its at.

That's true. Seeing lots of fat boys in a pile on the floor is great fun to watch. Union as played by the southern hemisphere sides is often fantastic to watch as they don't waste inordinate time in set pieces. They hit the rucks hard and get quick ball out to the backs. English rugby by contrast often is dominated by set pieces, very slow ruck posession and as a result, they often play 10 man rugby. Dull as dishwater.

Lets be honest lids, you prefer your rugby with cheerleaders and steroid munching blerts going for big hits, yay! There is no skill. Its basically wannabe American Football you myopic fools.

Union is about skill and craft, finesse and beauty. With real men who do their fighting in the rucks away from the ref and the camera.

Stick to your braindead wool sport with bleached hair wools doing six plays for hits. YEAH! MONSTRR TRUCKS!
