Saints fan here mate was at Langtree- great atmosphere, woeful second half. Thought Wigan's forwards, in particular O'Loughlin, were outstanding. Our defence on the fringes was weak to say the very least and we, as you rightly said, capitulated and collapsed. LMS poor once more and Masoe, who I thought had a decent game, continues to flatter to deceive. Thought Lomax was our most dangerous player but it was a poor performance and a real disappointment but roll on Widnes and Leeds.
Assume you're a Giants fan- great win for you at Salford and might be the catalyst for your season. You and Wire have been a little disappointing this campaign but that was a brilliant 2 points. Do you think Giants can breach the top 4 this season or will you settle for 5th/6th?

I think we'll be a pretty good shout still for top 4 - Saints, Pies, Leeds and Fartown should be up there - we've been unlucky not to have a win here or there, and our only really poor performance was against Catalans, who've been playing really well recently. Another win tomorrow and we should be back on track, with Larne Patrick back as well we're less light.

I went to Salford and they were just hopeless, were far too expansive without really having a pack to build it on, which is strange with Tony Puletua and Morley in the pack. I think sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't.

What do you think about the new structure from 2015?

I think once again the RFL have over complicated proceedings mate; look at what they've done to the video ref for example. I think they should have simply split the competition to a Play-Off system to six and restricted it to 12. Sorry for my stupidity but will relegation and promotion remain in SL for the foreseeable future or after this season will it go? Feel sorry for Bradford; a club of that stature does not deserve the Championship, whereas London IMO do.

And Salford have tried to spend money on experience IMO but at present, they're a team with a couple of very good players but props IMO past their sell by date. Puletua has been finished for 2 years; was terrific for us but fell away last season. Think they'll finish about 6th/7th.

What's your verdict on the changes and the split the RFL intend to make to the structure?

I think allowing P&R is probably good, and I do think it'll make more sense when we start playing. RFL have over complicated but one up, one down would have never worked and would never have got support. They're between a rock and a hard place.

Salford would have been better off bringing in players like Kirmond, Pettybourne, Dixon from London - a vibrant, exciting team. But then again, we've been there and young lads don't bring in crowds like Morley and Chase.

Was at the KR game as flat mate is a massive KR fan, previous two games I've been to have been two defeats to St Helens, have to say I had a great time.

KR are a good club, and RL is a great sport to watch. Better than the other stuff, must say (I have watched and played both, in case people think I'm bias)

Anyone watched the games this week? Saints capitulated but what a game at KR on Thursday!

I don't think we did.

It's hard not to notice over the course of the weekend we've missed Laffranchi, Manu,Turner, Mark Flanagan, Jonny Lomax, Luke Walsh, James Roby, Alex Walmsley and Greg Richards all missing Widnes, that's 9 key players missing, and well we had to do our best. As far as i'm concerned, we've got one eye on the big game on the Saturday in the Challenge Cup, which is going to be huge, and can't wait for it.

Wigan turned up, and we never. Whereas we rested players against Widnes, the regular season means that little, that i genuinely couldn't care less if we lose 1 or 2 games, as long as we're up there come September.

I'd be a lot more concerned if I was a Warrington fan.

A side missing, permanently, their three best players from last year. They're a worrying team for this year, and potentially next year too.

Wonder how long Harris will last, as well?

I have been really impressed with Saints this season, they seem to have embraced Brown's defensive side of his game plan, whilst still having that free flowing rubgy, Saints are noted for. Didn't see the Wigan game but was surprised at that defeat.

Was at Craven Park on Thursday, a season ticket holder, and the Derby is always a good occasion to get the blood boiling and particularly given some of the officiating was abysmal. Hudgell, the Chairman, was right to criticise the officiating in our games this season, but he needs to do it all the time. He has been a bit silent about what happened during the Derby game. The Derby took its toll on us and the Catalans defeat was not really surprising. Mistakes let us down but we were still in it until near the end.

Even though Huddersfield have won the last 2, I've been surprised they have struggled a bit this season. Huddersfield show that with good coaching and a game plan you don't have to be one of the 'big' guns to win the league.
