Sunderland found to have fielded an ineligble player.

Sunderland are in turmoil after it emerged that they played an ineligible player in four Barclays Premier League matches.

Striker Ji Dong-won played against Fulham (August 17), Southampton (August 24), Crystal Palace (August 31) and Manchester United (October 5) before realising he did not have international clearance to play.

Club secretary Liz Coley has been fired by owner Ellis Short after the extraordinary administrative error left Sunderland facing a Premier League investigation.

When I read the thread title, I thought this was going to be about Joey Altizore!

And when you change it, this might look funnier in a way.

"Let's hope the FA take mercy and realise that while gaining zero points during those games that this ineligible player was the main reason and award us some points as compensation."

Hahahaha

Brilliant isnt it? Some superb posts in there. Fair play to them.
