Is there a Jelavic thread yet?

Doubt it.

But on this page alone there's about 3 'Summer Transfer - just a question' threads, 7 'Wembley or derby win' threads, 15 'Johnny Heitinga' threads, and 34 '5 at the back' threads, all of which should befuddle your brain for a while until there is one.

FFS mods.

royston is free, so i can see that. Straq, probably a handful of magic beans so i can see that one too. Pienaar though...6m is being mentioned which i think is a bit expensive given his age. I'd love to see it happen

I think we will deff try to tie up drenthe and pienaar (who will not be 6M lol) straq is a possibility, but I imagine depends on if there,s anything else available for better value.

I'd be happy with tying up are loans then adding Donovan in December. Maybe another striker at a push.

I think the signings of Royston & Pienaar have taken the weight off the shoulers of some players. If they were not to sign we would be back to were we were at the beginning of the Season.

I think Straq for sure will be signed, Royston will be if he can play well through the end of the season, and Pienaar will languish in Dos Santos land (14 appearances for them in almost 4 years, 38 appearances elsewhere in the same time), where good Tottenham players go to watch their careers die. Why Steven was ok with a switch to Tottenham is quite beyond me. If you want solid playing time, going to a better squad is risky at best.

I think Drenthe is a possibility, because he is free, not sure about the others though. Perhaps if we sell someone, that will give us the cash to spend.

I think spending £6m on Pienaar would be terrible from a business point of view, but for footballing reasons I would love to see him back with us full time
