1 Jan Mucha.....Gone in the summer I reckon.
2 Tony Hibbert
3 Leighton Baines
4 Darron Gibson
5 John Heitinga
6 Phil Jagielka
7 Nikica Jelavic
10 Royston Drenthe...Gone already.
11 Denis Stracqualursi...Cant fault his heart, comparing to a proper striker shows his shortcomings.
12 Marcus Hahnemann...Can't see him staying
14 James McFadden...Free in the summer, no idea.
15 Sylvain Distin
17 Tim Cahill
18 Phil Neville
19 Magaye Gueye...The secret weapon. If we could, I'd cash in.
20 Ross Barkley
21 Leon Osman
22 Steven Pienaar...Will Spurs strengthen a rival?
23 Seamus Coleman
24 Tim Howard

25 Marouane Fellaini
26 Jack Rodwell
27 Apostolos Vellios...Out on loan, at best.
28 Victor Anichebe...No idea
29 Joao Silva
30 Francisco Junior
31 Adam Forshaw
34 Shane Duffy
37 Jose Baxter
38 James Wallace
43 Conor McAleny
?? Joseph Yobo...Free I believe?

It isn't a massive squad, and is padded out with a lot of the youth team/reserve setup. Average age of regular first teamers would be interesting.

Yobo still has 2 years left on his contract I believe.

Why are you so quick to get rid of Vellios? He has showed promise in his limited first team appearances. Kid is only 20, give him a chance.

What exactly are we cashing in on with Gueye?

OUT: Anichebe, Rodwell, Mucha
IN: Dempsey, Pienaar

I would be very pleased with that. I don't really want to lose Rodwell as I think he'll be a fine players and he's one of ours, and I'd like to see us build a core of local youth products who can play at this level (Rodwell can)...but if it gets us Pienaar and Dempsey, we'll actually compete for things next year.

Gueye is starting to show some good football, hes only young, one for the future..i love pienaar but i cant see spurs letting him go,if bale leaves if they dont get champions league football like hes been saying :( ,saying that pienaar should be our main target.

Pienaar is coming back dw.

And I think Gueye is semi-gash, IMO.

Again, the point of the thread, who can be offed to make way for incomings on the wage bill.

It ties in directly to where you see Moyes taking our style of play - pace like Arsenal - neat stuff through the middle like City - Stuff out wide with pace like Man U - a midfield making loads of time for one player like Spurs do for Modric - a big unit setup for the grind like Chelsea.

Jack of all trades, master of none.

Focus is required, Newcastle did good things with Ginola and Gillespie feeding Shearer and Ferdinand.

These are my thoughts, too. Really want him to do well and I think he has shown brilliance in the past. Think his early season form, and the game against Man City in 2010 at Eastlands he showed some pure class. Not to mention he deserved his England appearance. But... how long are his injury concerns going to go on for? They could be endless, and if we could get anything close to the £20m mooted in the past I'd definitely cash in.

And I think Gueye is semi-gash, IMO.

Thank you! He is the new Anichebe, except with a better attitude. Slow, lumpy, and awkward on the ball. I do like the lad and think he is decent as a reserve winger, but he is not the future of the side.

If we could get around £4m for him I'd take that and use the cash to pay for Pienaar (up-front with installments).

moyes wants to buy jay rodriguez from burnley but they want £8mil wtf hahahaha gotta larf ent ya
