My Galaxy note 4 has been a brilliant phone. Prior to that my note 2 was also great for me.

However my current phone now needs another battery and also it's cracked in a few places thanks to my habit of lying on it beneath a car.

Normally I'd look for another galaxy note. However the note 8 is still pricy and has the fundamental drawback of going down the stupid apple route of a non user replaceable battery.

So come on GOT hive mind , give me suggestions. These are my criteria -

Faster than note 4
Even better battery
Big, good screen
User replaceable battery
Micro sd slot
3.5mm headphone jack
Not stupid apple

Don’t think there are many on the market now that you can remove the battery, most are glass back with wireless charging capability.

ive had the note 9 for a good while, but I’ve recently gone back too apple as I prefer that software at the moment
 
Huawei is like Samsung but more reliable and longer battery life in my experience.
Switched to them and haven't regretted it once even if my browsing history is causing trauma to the Chinese snoopers.

Wouldn't consider anything Apple. They were considering banning porn on their devices once. Or so the rumour goes. Either way it was enough for me to boycott the brand forever.
 

I actually bought this on link 3 days ago and been pretty good for me though its way bigger than i thought -its probably not to everyone's taste -I am not one of these ones that go and pay £ 600/700 for a phone when they do the same thing pretty much-had my last phone 7 years and one before that for 8 years lol

I've had a pixel 3 for a few months. Great phone.

Software is really straightforward and well thought out. The battery is really good.
