Sudden feelings of depression

Men have it tough because we generally don't talk about stuff. We don't open up and talk about our feelings so when we're not feeling great we just bottle up and it can make us feel worse. Hopefully on a forum like this, it's a safe space where we can say how we're feeling when times are rough and we're feeling down. We all know how it feels when some suffer a lot worse than others.

Before anyone jumps on me, yes I know women have it tough too but I'd guess this forum is probably 99% male so I was aiming my comment at the masses.

Brilliant. Very much so.

Alcohol is bad, so is being/feeling alone while in that state. Reach out in whatever way you feel safe but do reach out to talk.

Does anyone else get these?

For absolutely no reason at all, for the past few hours I've just felt totally down in the dumps. I've tried having a few beers but it hasn't improved my mood any.

I think that I'm just going to go to bed :(

Absolutely

I can’t say I recommend having a drink though mate, could possibly escalate those feelings.

Going for a walk has helped me or some form of exercise, I know that’s not a solution for everyone tho.
