Successful deception of match officials

But it seems they have moved the goalposts.

They have added a bit which states “gains significant advantage” from the deception.

This presumably means winning a penno from which your team scores.

Which is nonsense of course.....the “significant advantage” of a goal can come from “deception” anywhere on the pitch.

Because I can successfully deceive the linesman that a ball which came off me for a throw in on the halfway line had actually came off an opposition player and from the resulting throw in my striker scores :(

This bollox will collapse under the weight of its own absurdity before too long.
Not while the sky 6 calls the shots...in their own favour

Ban's only come into play when a player has dived, and the ref awards a pen Finners, if a player blatantly dives in the box, and the ref doesn't give the pen, then no action is taken against that player (maybe a yellow card from the ref) Also, you don't get punished for conning the ref by diving to win a free - kick, even if your team scores from that free - kick.
there is one huge fail in this rule. they chose to make Niasse case an example case. well, in this example case there was a contact. it means that even if there is a contact and player over acts it it must be a ban. this basically means that players must stop any kind of over acting even if there is contact wich results into penalty.. this rule is a failure. and i say this as a ref me self. this underminds refs and contradicts to other rules for example that rule where FA cant ban acting if ref has already given ruling (card)

After watching various dives this weekend. Why is it that if a referee makes the mistake of giving a pen the player gets a ban, and if he doesn't make a mistake, no pen and no ban?

I suppose the player who dives doesn't benefit as no penalty is given but it's such a ridiculous rule that it will do nothing to deter diving.

I've always thought it's such an instinctual thing that 99% of dives are not premeditated.

Similar to the rule that match officials must travel to and from a match together to avoid bribes, they will just ignore it eventually.

Ramsey took the opportunity to go down and got a penalty, this is the same scenario as Niasse. The big difference is Arsenal have people in the media shouting their corner so there will be no pressure on the FA to review Ramsey's deception. We were an easy target for the FA and they took the opportunity to 'show' they would act.

Kilbane was a bit on the fence, Keown is always gonna stick up for Arsenal. Also, I heard that this 'diving' panel contains one ex player one ex manager and one ex referee. People on the panel as ex players include people liek danny murphy, ike surely that destroys the element of impartiality. If Danny Murphy was one of the 3 debating on niasse he'd be more inclined to say it was a dive due to his preconceived views on everton as a whole. I'd be the same with liverpool. It's just such a ridiculous system. Likewise an ex saints player on the commitee would have also done the same as it meant niasse missed yesterday (not that it would have changed much) but surely they should be three referees and not this mish mash of football 'people'.
