Mark Hughes is saying that he got his tactics spot on against Everton, it seems that most teams get it right against us , time to get them guessing Roberto.

I said it to my mate yesterday, last season we benefited from the side still having that steel of the previous regime and would battle for 90 minutes regardless. It seems to have been taken from them this season as we look to properly adjust to Martinez's system.

We've become more Birkdale than Kirkdale.

Stoke did it to us yesterday, they still play like yarddogs but have got some lads who can knock it about, that was us last season, we could kick you when need be but then we'd togger you off the pitch and it was a blur. We need that fight back.

His mouth is a chocolate fountain spewing faeces out. Plenty of links on NewsNow about how he's saying the ref got the calls right....but what's the point of clicking on them ?

Agreed. The focus has shifted from making us very tough to beat (Moyes) to 'titting about with the ball in defence for no reason' (Martinez).

It has to stop. The Support aint wearing it. Rarely was Moyes' sides boo'd off like the cacophonies we have endured this season.

We are better off letting the opposition have the possession and catch them on counter, we don't have the players with the technical ability needed for that tiki taka shoite

This is what I want to see us doing more of, much more of. We need to be doing more off the ball as well as injecting more pace and urgency when we have it.

Blaming our woes on 'passing football' is ridiculous. We're just bang out of form and need to tweak a few things.

We have a front 4 of barkley lukaku mirallas and eto'o who quote "pressing /backtracking is not their game" and we are being linked maybe with deulofeu who is another one. If any team needed to buy some legs it's us, if Robbie want's to play this half arsed barca style maybe he should watch a few videos of how the hunt the ball down in packs after they have turned it over.

Agreed ,if we are not going to press the opposition then let them have it and play counter.

Everton should play whatever style will work against a particular team.

This will vary during each game - adaptability is key, and playing either fancy football or route one all the time will see a team beaten.

We need a range of options and we also need to to take account of who we're playing ffs. Martinez seems to have zero planning for the opposition and has them playing the same way irrespective of the attributes of who we're facing. It's simply not good enough.
If we were away to real Madrid with a hat full of injuries he would still play 4 up front and try and beast them.

Read a quote from one of the players this weekend that the system will never change just the playing staff. worrying
