OMG!

There's a guy at work with a stutter and everyone calls him Arkwright and i always wondered why.

And i've only just figured it out after you posted that, can't believe i didn't figure it out earlier.

When I was in my early 20' s I worked for a company beginning with F.

One of their sales managers had a terrible stutter so we used to call his office when we knew the secretary was out for lunch.

He used to answer " Hello F.....F.....F"......., you can imagine how long it would take to get the name out. Anyway he overcame the stutter, had a phenominal career ending up Chairman of one of Wall Street Banks.

He's still a good mate. The moral of the story is that he never gave up, never let his stuttering be a hinderance to him.

Hope this encourages others......

I struggle to say my first name, it begins with a N.

So I'd just make up my first name on nights out, worked an absolute charm at Uni, especially as it was during facebooks peak, untraceable.
