As promised.Just hold your breath and swim face down in the water but looking ahead and slowly breathing out. Lift your head whenever you need to breath in again. Always worked for me.
I did as you suggested and after a few false starts, I actually got the hang of it.
Far from perfect of course, but I am hopeful that within a few more visits that I will finally be able to rack up the lengths.
