Stuff that you thought was going to be crap but ended up good?

To be specific, Brunost.

You look at this cheese and think the worst, and when you hear about this cheese you want to just scream no and dismiss it out of hand. Its Norwegian cheese made with caramel.



My housemate offered me some yesterday and I thought, this looks like Pate I'm not trying this. But then I thought, I overcame the smell of Camambert, the hideous looks of some goat's cheeses, might as well take the plunge. Turns out there's still no cheese in the world I don't like.
