Student Short: 'Fully Automatic?'

Directing wasn't too bad for a student project. Not sure I was that into the story though.

If I were you I'd do a movie about a mental night out, I had some mental nights out, as have most of the people on GOT.

I'll try and think of a plot outline for you. You can get some GOT members having walk past cameos in pubs and clubs, we'll all be millionaires. Needs to be a 2 hour epic though.

I wouldn't say more of that kind of stuff because otherwise it can become farcical but I thought those bits worked, especially the way it was shot.

Like lots of others have said it was the script and not the production that was the issue with that for me, I found 2 of the 3 guys fairly irritating, especially the one chewing gum. If you could also ask them to use English accents next time I think I might like them a bit more.

Originally Slough mate (I know, no comment needed), so not a million miles from you. I have vague memories of a couple of trips to Aldershot Lido, is it even still there? I seem to remember it being fairly run down last time I was there.

Haha that's exactly right, it's awful and scummy but it's home I suppose and I always have a top night out there!

Cheeks changed its name and got bought out about five times and has now finally closed down seemingly for good before closing they did £1 a pint before 11pm for about six months so we made the most of it at least!

I used to be based at Odiham so every so often, we'd swap Basingstoke for Aldershot and have a night of cheap drink, easy women, sticky floors and fights with the army.
