Ferguson is still the only forward in our coaching team and his role will be minimal, as he's still gaining his badges.

Wouldn't say Fergusons role is 'minimal', he's heavily involved with the U18s alongside Sheedy, is on the sidelines at every U18 game shouting instructions and takes shooting practice for the U18 players.

Doubt he spends much time with the U21s mind.

Agreed, the kindest thing would be to sack him immediately and restrict his access to state welfare

Moyes has been at pains to point out that he's not a bone fide coach with us and that we're helping him with his development, so he's not going to get a say on major decisions.

Is he good enough? - Should we be trusting Alan Stubbs?;

.. certainly a valid question given early season results.

My first reaction to reading that he's been helping Barkley with his defensive game is - that's him ****ed then.

I think it's great having an Everton die-hard training the kids, I'd feel a lot more comfortable if there were a recognised coaching genius working with Stubbs and the kids.
