30 months

Stuart Hall stripped of his OBE by the Queen...all gone quiet though on the Newsnight report pointing the finger at 'minor Royals' involvement in *visiting* Duncroft school where Saville was a regular *guest* though.

I was thinking this a few days ago.

It seems very easy to investigate minor celebrities of wrongdoing in this country, but surprisingly nobody of real status seems to have done anything wrong ever.

Odd that.

I always remember David Icke saying in the 90's that Saville was a paedo fixer for the royals and celebs. Ted Heath was the worst according to him. The crackpot might have been right on Saville after all.

The Freddie Starr / Dave Lee Travis / Stuart Hall's of this world are very expendable.

The Royal Family will be protected at all costs. It's staggering really that the Newsnight producer, Meirion Jones, makes those allegations and no one at all follows them up. Lord McAlpine's case was ushered forward by the media, and because he's at the heart of the Tory establishment some falsified report is conveniently conjured up to discredit the historic claims made against him and then the media back away nervously from Establishment figures like McAlpine and the Royals. It's a stitch up.

He's probably more accurate than ITV, to be fair...the failed state of broadcasting.
