So after what we saw yesterday, with Rom played up front (and not out on the wing, thank God), and then an attacking three all rotating, what do we all think of our strongest XI being as follows:

Howard

Coleman Stones Jags Bainesy

Barry McCarthy

Mirallas Barkley Naismith

Rom

The idea of Mirallas, Barkley and Naismith rotating would give defenders nightmares! And it's probably (besides a diamond formation) the best way to accommodate both Naisy and Barkley in the same team.

Hoping Besic breaks in to that first XI too (probably at the expense of Barry).

Can't wait for Kev/Barkley and Rom to be all fit and starting

Those 3 with Coleman and Baines bombing on ffs

JIZZ JIZZ JIZZZZZZZZZZ

Mad to think how we could even consider Naismith on the wing considering the start to his Everton career.

That said if he just keeps linking play, closing down players, rotating with the other 2 AMs and keeps getting in good positions then I could well see it being very effective.

Agree to a point; just how far away from the bench would Osman be?
