Welcome back Wayne
Now I really love listening to amateurs playing and singing in the streets, it’s hard work and some amazing talent can be heard. I once was brought to tears listening to a young cellist playing by the cathedral in Barcelona, music you just couldn’t buy...anyway just listening to youtube tonight I came across this, obviously a well listened to video...enjoy

Saw a couple really good violinists in Venice a few years ago. Electric violins doing covers of rock songs. Was pretty cool. Have seen quite a few of that girl's videos, Ally I think it is?, has a few other pretty talented singers with her most of the time too.

I saw a very talented violinist in Paris’ metro, he was in one of the tunnels and the beautiful sound radiated throughout the place.

Asheville, the city where we reside, has a lot of musicians and you can see many of them performing on the street and entertaining people walking around downtown. I absolutely love the atmosphere they create. But at times I feel bad that such talented musicians are having to make a living on the street.

I used to live with a guy called Dave who used to play the harp in Oxford city centre. He used play his dub records from 7am each morning and drive to Wales to pick everyone some mushrooms.

He had a (fake) story for everything but he was entertaining nonetheless.

His mate came to stay and he took heroin in our bath at my birthday party. Good times.

As long as he didn't nod out with the hot tap running what's the problem? lol

Ali Sherlock is here name and she is only like 16, incredible voice on her, i'm surprised she is still singing in street tbh.

More canal music than street music but hey it is Amsterdam. This guy (Reinier Sijpkens) is amazing - plays a whirligig, and a trumpet whilst controlling his boat.
