I know we don't endorse streaming games but it's worth telling you all that they have started banning people and taking away internet from those ip addresses who they catch.

There was a judges order last Friday for premiership games and one today for UEFA games.

So be warned if you stream games you may lose your internet.

Define "Taking away internet"
The court no longer has such power due to European court of human rights ruling the internet access is a basic human right.

The court would have to either compel your ISP to refuse you service (don't think they can) or your ISP would have to separately cancel your service (unlikely)

So internet companies removing service is essentially getting rid of paying customers mate.

What internet company will bin off 50 thousand paying customers for example for streaming games?

Think about it. They would be sending them all to their competition. Quickest way to run your service into the ground

They won't ban anyone.

The people they want are the ones supplying the game to others, not the people watching it. So anyone watxhing are fine, just don't stream it to a load of people

That's not what the judges order says mate. They have lots of people's ip addresses listed in the order.

No they aren’t. They’ll disrupt your feed if you’re on sky, virgin, bt etc. Wonderful, but not the source of most streams.

Oh, and they’ll block certain websites. (The list of IPs) Great, but if it isn’t a football stream site but a general stream site, what they gonna do?

Just sounds like the standard fear system being invoked. It's the way the UK works when that want to raise tax revenues. Spread some fake news in an attempt to invoke some unenforceable law ....
