Just been reading the will Messi ever play in premier league thread '
thought some of the things were a bit mind blown and interesting so decided too make a thread. These were a couple.

Messi was targeted by Arsenal when he was a youngster but he refused to leave (instead they got Fabregas).

Maradona almost played for Sheffield United when he was 18 but the club wasn't willing to pay his transfer price, such a vision lol... etc

Arbroath 36 Bon Accord 0 : one of those useless facts from childhood that have stuck in the mind. No idea where Bon Accord is, and I imagine there was little dancing there that night.

The score would have been higher if not for the fact neither goal had nets. Time wasted retrieving the ball.
