Player Valuation: £8m
We have been linked with many players, but how many have been approached by any Everton officials? Linking players is often just a bait to get readers on their website. Two players that has been intouch with the club, and thats Naughton and Elm. We lost one, but thats not the end of the world. Cheer up lads!

Agreed, as Chico would say, "we're still boss!"(y)

But we want to be bosser and with the current squad, i am affraid to say we will struggle to make progress on last season.

We have to keep hold of Lescott and bring in legal steriods to keep Saha fit. Also signing Cana is a must IMO to add a great deal of steel in the midfield. We should sign Bates from middlesborough.

Its all about getting players who fits in and at a fair price. No way Noughton is worth 6 mill. Nor Elm. Better go on. There are bargains out there. How much did Ronaldo cost Manch. U when he arrived? And Fabregas for Arsenal?

Ronaldo cost over 12 million for ManU.

So you suggest we wait until transfer deadline day or something? And are you a better judge of player valuation than David Moyes?

If you know where the bargains are, you better give Moyes a few hints. Over the last few years, Moysie has found some real bargains that have turned into gems but these masterstroke moves have dried out somewhat.

The fact of the matter is we said after last seasons failures in the transfer market, we would learn from it. Mistakes were made we were told, and wont be made again. Yet here we are again in almost EXACTLY the same situation. No players in before the players come back from their break, no players in before they play their first few games, and no players in before they jet off on a foreign tour.
I fully expect this summer to mirror last summer exactly. It has so far, so why should we expect anything different?
