All through last year starting at West Brom at home (our first home game i think) my grandad said Martinez wouldnt take us any further than moyes, i couldnt understand this as im a bobby fan. Even when we were playing well he still said watch next season he will get comfortable - and he has. I hope in the long term my grandad is wrong but he has some valid points - no balance, poor substitutions, favourites like Lukaku when Kone would fit into this 'philosophy' better. Barry being too slow and a shadow of the player he was last year, yet he is the new phil neville, teacher pet and all that. So come at me with all your defence of martinez all you want, like i say i am a fan but this has been one long hard season, that requires some steel but doesnt mean we cant attempt to win games with the dare devil attitutude bobby showed last year.

By the way Stones is brilliant.

Yea I think you got the wrong post for that comment, however to answer your point. Last season he got our confidence up and we rode the crest of a wave for the whole season. This season due to injuries and other factors it has been more transitional and he has had to revert. Personally the only weakness I see with Martinez is that the decisions he has made haven't been made soon enough.
