My time in a buddhist monestary was very memorable.

I was stood there watching something of not much interest when i felt something...so i turned and a monk was frowning and staring at me...

Felt like he was staring deep into my soul. Went on for several minutes and i couldnt look away.

Proper freaked me out and was unforgettable.

You've not lived until you've seen a guy play a flute made from a leg bone to teach you about impermanence

Any particular reason he used a leg bone? Also was it the impermanence of human existance and the bone was to show how inconsequential we are in the big picture?

Tbh the ones ive met usually barely grasp English...unless they are the fake monks begging for money or to buy something off them.
