I just don't get this law that we have to refer to our players by their surname in full and nothing else.

I buy my tickets I call them what the fu ck I want. It's hardly kopite behaviour, all teams have nicknames for players.

It's hypocritical as [Poor language removed] that we take the piss out of them for it then do it ourselves. Like you say, you have every right to call them what you like, just as I have every right to think it's massively tittish.
 

Fair point, I have no issue with the calling him stevie g though, other than the fact he is a total cart.
 
Aside from all that, I agree that it's a good thing he's jacked in international football, just wish he's get back to his early season form.
