Since Stevie Pienaar has just announced his retirement, I thought he deserved his own appreciation thread. Cracking little player, very underrated, and we've had a gaping hole on our left side ever since he left.

All the best to him and let's hope he keeps us entertained on social media and makes a visit or two back to Merseyside.

2 things really mar his legacy here, the obvious one and then the "grass is greener" only to come back with his tail between his legs.

One of our best ever bargain buys,unplayable on his day and had an amazing ability to draw foulsalways felt he blotted his copybook somewhat with the Spurs business but hey thanks for the memories.

Changed the way this club played football after the early pragmatic Moyes years. @davek STFU
