Steven Gerrard

His contribution was a typical Gerrard performance - except this time most of it was in the first half, not the second. He was totally burnt out in the 2nd half, which, as you know, we dominated. His preference for letting others do the business and strolling around with some late, significant contributions (usually in the form of one or two lung-bursting runs and passes) was not possible as they used him up in the first half. Remarkably (naively?) Rodgers won't take him off after, say, an hour, now and again. Suarez was struggling and very much needed for the 2nd half - any other player would have been removed at 2-1 up, limping. So there it is in a nutshell - a fading great of the game forced to put in the full 90 minutes and the talisman, fresh off the plane from South America, forced to do a 90 minute shift limping..

Either that means they have no depth and/or their manager is a fool.

look at the benches they've put out this season. i haven't heard of some of the players, this is with a squad that's been asembled through hundreds of millions in the last few years.

Hanging around with the wrong sort.

All fine and well when they're sorting out beak for the coke fiend wife, but when you stop doing them favours....

haha, you can tell how much of a **** he is, by the fact all these stories keep coming out. He'll pay some "friends" to sort the personnel in question out once found, seeing as he's not man enough to do these kinds of things

CCTV is useless in cases regarding Gerrard, although the prick who attacked him is badly out of order saying things like that.

Merseyside Police have just released a still picture of the incident from the CCTV footage:
