Steve Round - a bad choice?

I think there is more to it than Moyes fault, Round fault or anybody else you can think of fault. We are only looking for somebody to blame because the results haven't been what we wanted.

This is the same squad, same manager and same assistant manager that went on such a good run of results in second half of last season, that we expected so much more, and other managers were stating we would be in the mix for CL place this season.

At the start of the season we played some really class football, that arsenal would be proud of. The problem was the results our football deserved did not come because of our scoring problems, and for me because we didn't play quickly enough in the last third. Too often slowing things down or taking 1 too many passes.

As results didn't come, confidence has started to wain. A depressing january transfer window won't have helped lift spirits, so now it is just about hard work to build confidence and turn results in our favour. I'm certain Moysie and Round will be doing everything to make that happen.

the lack of goals and the poor set pieces at either end of the pitch this season certainly point to bad/wrong coaching imo.

ive thought for a while that round's knowledge may be limited , and it shows in the team performances.theres been plenty of times where we can clearly see a plan A , but there very rairly a sign of a plan B.

i just think that if round is staying , then we need an extra coach in , one that is more attack minded.

This is ridiculous ^^

If you're going to blame Round for everything, you have to conversely give him credit for everything - therefore, it was thanks to Round we reached the FA Cup final!

He may not be the best number two around but he's not to blame exclusively for the crap Everton are turning out.

If you want someone to blame, it's the same as in every business - the men at the top are responsible. It's called corporate responsibility.

Hence, for onfield management of assets, David Moyes is to blame. For the larger scale running of the club, Bill Kenwright is to blame.

Round is about as culpable as Alan Stubbs or the kit manager
.

Well said and spot on.

Saw him on Sky Sports yesterday - totally forgot about him
Kinda surprised he hasn't gotten himself a first team coach position somewhere in the lower leagues - he was always linked back prior to his United move with Moyes
