Very helpful.

I guess the struggle of the fish in this imageis a metaphor about how much resistance Round gives Moyes.

Or maybe it's just a very elaborate way to explain that he is, indeed, a tit. Thousand words and all that!

I thought that the bird represents Moyes and Everton and the fish Steve Round. Everton and Moyes are struggling to reach new heights and truly sore with the weight of Steve Round dragging them down.

An acceptable interpretation.

Which also leads us to suggests it would be tasty to eat Round, too.

Come to think, if our entire squad was stuck on a raft in the middle of the ocean and would have to resort to cannibalism, we would eat Steve Round first. I know many would rather eat Anichebe, but eating him first is racist.

Good point.

Personally I'd go for Apostolos Vellios first because Greek meat is the best.

Hehe.

I have this niggling feeling though that he doesn't challenge Moyes as much as say, Irvine, did. It's very speculative so I may be completely wrong, but I get the feeling Moyes would prefer to have an assistant manager that agreed with him rather than one that clashed heads with him.

But from a fan's perspective I'd rather someone who questioned his decisions and wasn't afraid to shake his head, rather than nod it. I repeat though; this is speculative.

It was embarrassing against United, I think it was, when Moyes ran on to the pitch doing his nut and Round mirrored him movement for movement. I only know what I see from the outside, but I agree with you. I'd personally rather have someone with their own ideas like Steve Clarke or Ray Wilkins than an assistant who just carries out the boss's instructions. In that sense, he's like Gareth from The Office.

I have no idea if hes good or not mate - frankly i dont think anyone has - it does seem that Moyes trusts him though and i expect before he poached from Newcastle he would have done his research. As far as i know the coaching staff from the ground up work as a team with Davey. Some of the underage coaches are asked and give their opinion on the first team and potential players etc - in that sense its great that Irvine is back in addition to Round.

I just never understand some of the ire on here that surrounds Round - or the reasons for it. Ask Davek his brainwashing campaign against Kenwright and Round is in full swing .

Could be worst, we could have Pat Rice the biggest nodding donkey in the prem....
Oh fck,, i hope Gooner not on here!
