Yes, because goals mean everything. Every Sunderland fan I know said he was a great player and the only reason he was sold was because he and Bruce didn't get on together.

Dunno what Sunderland fans you've been talking to but I moved to Durham this year and I'm surrounded by the bastards. They all liked him but didn't want him in the team because he had no end product. He's the last player we need because our weaknesses are that we're aging, slow and don't score enough goals and he would only make those problems worse.
 

We won't see that in an actual game. And we have enough midfielders. Even with a few injuries.



Why not? Because we're broke and wasting wages on an incredibly average and ageing player who will offer us nothing is stupid.

I'd rather give a young player a chance.

we have freed up enough money to cover his wages. am all for young players but would you rather have phil neville playing right wing or malbranque? i would bring him as a squad player to cover cahill/osman/coleman/drenth. nothing more
