Brought a sofa from asda for £5
It was obviously an error but ordered . It has been dispatched but now had email saying order cancelled
Any advise

A sofa for a fiver....... obviously not a chance. Do you really want to persue this legally? Clearly a mistake by someone, and whilst you see it as 'ASDA' remember there is some poor soul who made the mistake and as well as a bollocking could lose their job if you make a big stink of it. Do you ever make a mistake at work? Would you want to be persued legally by someone for it?

It's a no from me.

It'll depend on the t's and c's on their website, but these days they normally cover themselves for things which are obvious mistakes so you're likely goosed

If they'd actually delivered the sofa, then they'd have completed the contract and the law would be on your side, but the chances are that their t's and c's say that the order isn't finally accepted until delivery's been made.
