Player Valuation: £70m
I have the mobpro app on my phone which gives me the togger news and scores. Today an article popped up naming the best players to play for everton in each shirt number (not position).

What a pile of yak smegma is dreamt up in the name of click bate. Is there no integrity at all left in journalism? No attempt to research and make articles even close to factually plausible?

From my experience (late 70s on) I have no argument with number 1 - southall, 2 - Stevens 3- Baines (are you looking @davek?) although Psycho Pat offered greater physicality, 4-Rats, 5-Watson BUT THEN I give you - number 6 - Phil Jagielka over Peter Reid. Wtf? Now I'm a big fan of Jags, but better than Reidy he was not.

We go on: 7-Steven (Kanchelskis worth a shout maybe but I have a real admiration for Tricky Trev), 8-Ball, 9-Wlliam Ralph, but then

10 - Amocachi ?? Not bad - but surely Cahill, or Bracewell And then the piece de millennial resistance (for surely this was written by a tadpole) - Lukaku at best 11. Lukaku may have scored a few goals against crap teams but he made the consistent mistake of using his trampoline shins to trap a ball where one of the most skillful left footers to grace the Park could could untie Lukaku's laces using only one shin.

SHEEEEEEEEEEDY FFS!

There. Glad I got that off my chest.

Go on - amend.

Make some protest t-shirts mate, I'll have one.
I'd go
1. Big Nev
2. Stevens
3. Wilson
4. Ratcliffe
5. Labone
6. Reid
7. Steven
8. Bally
9. Dixie
10. Golden Vision
11. Sheeds
I could happily live with that list.

Be arsed with a protest shirt though. I'll just ignore the app news like I blank out adverts. I get most of my news through GOT anyway - its far quicker than mobpro or the beeb.
