Do you think the goal from saha yesterday will kickstart his season? First goal in 7 months gets that monkey off his back and although i only seen the highlights, he looked incredibly sharp. He showed a burst of pace for the goal that we havent seen in a long time!!

Hopefully he can score another 6-7 goals before his next injury and finish with 12-15 for the season.

Velios is twice the player Saha is, and i think Saha is fantastic, just past it in terms of being what we look for in a striker.

He (Velios) didn't do much yesterday, mate.

Due to the fact that whenever we have someone who is taller than 1.80m we play with long balls, probably. He had about 20 metres between him and the midfield at all times, too, which didn't help one bit.

But whatever. We shall call for him to be dropped and Saha to play at all times.
As Nik said, "Lolz. Everton."

I do prefer in-form Saha over anyone else in the squad, hope he really is in form now. I'm pretty happy as long as Vellios and Stracq get 15 minute run outs, they are still developing, and hopefully they deserve more in the end part of the season. I also hope the midfield sorts itself out. Drenthe is a beast but he leaves us a bit vulnerable.

Ridiculous comment. He's played what, three games and you're saying he's better than a player who on his day is one of the top strikers in the league ?

starting vellios gave saha the kick in the arse he needed and also would have gave vellios some more confidence as well. great move by moyes, for once.

I hope so, Vellios looked gassed to me by the end of the first half. Certainly that's a short-term issue, he'll get into better shape once he gets more time. But Saha is better than him, at this stage, anyway.

Vellios did naff all Yesterday, but im not saying he should be dropped, hes young, thus why Moyes didnt think he was ready to lead the line from the start.

Moyes is ALWAYS right, learn that peeps.

Never been Sahas biggest fan, I admire his talent, at times, but hes a 1 in 12 player and I dislike those.

I prefer your steady eddy does what it says on the tin type players, like Super Tim Cahill.

Hmm, and how much has Saha done in the past 12 months?

Ridiculous comment. He's played what, three games and you're saying he's better than a player who on his day is one of the top strikers in the league ?

Saha is not one of the best strikers in the league and has not been for quite some time, Christ on a bike - you said my comment was a ridiculous comment.

Come on lads, you know the drill.

He'll go on a nice run of form, get injured, take ages coming back, score 2-3 more and be done for the season.

Anything over 10 would be super, thanks for asking.
