For me, the originals are miles better than the prequels. Empire is my favorite, followed by A New Hope and then Jedi. I love the originals. My dad and I used to watch Star Wars all the time when I was a kid, so I really tried to like the newer ones. They just don't match the standard. Too much CGI, some terrible dialogue. I know the acting in the originals wasn't great but it's much better than the prequels. When you manage to make Natalie Portman seem like a really poor actress, you know you wrote a garbage script.
