STANDING/SINGING AREA - PE7

Weve decided to go for the standing singing area in the parkend block 7. This is the the block closest to the away fans.

There is 24 free seats in the very top corner if you want to stand up and plenty more lower down the block if you dont want to stand persistantly.

Changing will cost a tenner as well as any difference between your old seat and this area. 0871 663 1878 to change


I mentioned about this on here a while a go and one or two seemed interested. Were hoping to get at least 10 song starting types to get the ball going but spreading the word is hard so we expect this to take 2-3 seasons to get going well

Getting a bit long in the tooth for it tbh though, 90 mins with just a 15 min break ... and the walk back to the station after !

Just do it in the Cup first

I've sat in the same spec for years BUT for a Cup match I often move spec so will give it a go then and I'll get a few of me old Park End mates down for it if you like.

It's just too much hassle changing yer season ticket spec. You have to phone your match mates up that I don't see in the summer then loads of organising to swap, but for a Cup game you see them in the Brick the week before and just say get yourself in that part of the ground, it'll be a boss laugh realing out all the old numbers.

If I lived closer I'd be well up for this, but I can only make it to four or five homes games a season these days.

Considering how clear the crowd influence is on our performances (this season Man City and Chelsea, esp. post red cards spring to mind) I'm surprised the club doesn't try to engineer this themselves.

Just do it in the Cup first

I've sat in the same spec for years BUT for a Cup match I often move spec so will give it a go then and I'll get a few of me old Park End mates down for it if you like.

The plan is to push it especially hard for the cup games, obviously it's easiest then.

But then congregating as much as possible for the league is going to help out and then hopefully next year more will join and we can can for it more.

And yeah any help spreading the word would be sound tar mate
