Stan and Ollie

The sad thing about this release revolves around my dad.
He absolutely doted on these two and as far back as I can remember he had me watching them on the tv.
He must have seen every snippet of their work many, many times over and he was wholeheartedly laughing throughout each.
My mam and dad's houses were shrines to Ollie and Stan such was the collection of photos, beer mugs, statuettes and so on. His VHS collection had to be replaced by dvd and he always had them on.
I told him recently that there was a new film to be released and he couldn't wait to see it.
My dad passed away a few weeks back at the age of 95 so never will see this. We did play Trail of the Lonesome Pine at his service though.
Thanks for reading this.

TT, sorry to hear your sad news. Your Dad had good taste and a good sense of humour. RIP.
