We should have started the redevelopment of Goodison straight after the fools in charge of the circus let the Kings dock opportunity pass.

how come?

We cannot spend the TV money which has/will have increased 70% by 2017 on anything else other than Stadium development and similar.

Under FFP/Premier league rules.

Anyone saying we do not have money is perpetuating a lie.

those tv moneys are air to everyone, extra out of those goes pretty much everything around the club expences etc are increasing too. im like genius so i know.

While the majority of match going fans are on B K's side, there's precious little anyone can do. And even if the entire fanbase grumbled, it would make no real difference.

This is a poll after the recent publication by Robert Elstone of some controversial comments about the viability of Walton Hall Park and Everton's revenue generation capabilities. Plus their views on funding.

Look at what Tottenham Hotspur are doing right now. These are our rivals. Is no one concerned?

This under the current financial rules (such as restrictions on TV money use for squad wage increases; 4 Million TV Money per season) will increasingly put Everton under more pressure as without commercial revenues (sponsorships etc) and the stadium we will not be able to finance player acquisitions competitively with clubs that are massively increasing their own capacities.

This in the medium term (3 years) is a real and present danger to Everton Football Club.

QUESTION:

If the club does not show significant progress on a VIABLE stadium capacity/quality/revenue generation proposal (e.g. Walton Hall Park site) WITHIN SIX (6) MONTHS

- should Robert Elstone and/or the board go?

i.e. be forced out if necessary.
Yay! Spurs have built a giant sand pit, that looks like fun. At least some of their expensive Donkeys will feel at home.

A giant sand pit where land values are significantly higher (and potentially a bigger hurdle to building) than they are in the locality of Everton.

...

People just aren't getting what a serious issue this is.

You're taking Spurs building a stadium after years of trying and government handouts serious enough for all of us I think.

you only have to look at what they've spent on players to see they are operating in a different financial realm to us.

Our commercial wing has needed renewal/fresh ideas for years now. It's 15 years out of date at least, humping the old largely dead revenue streams with decreasing returns. I don't need a picture of a Sand Pit to tell me how bad we are at generating revenue.
