I don't remember christ burger, was that the cafe place on he corner that overlooked Clayton Square ???
That's right mate, if i get access to there again i'll get a video on me phone, it's actually quite eerie up there now, i was up there on me bill and felt like i was being watched, wonder if the tocky toilet gang claimed a victim who walks the earth looking for justice lol

My family has lot's of history in the market and despite not having a stall there anymore we're still in touch with most of the butchers who still remain, basically they do still use the upstairs section but only for storing old ****e and xmas decorations, me and my uncle were just doing one of the butchers a favour by getting rid of his old equipment. Do any of you guys remember McCabe's butchers on the first floor? me grandad used to have one of those herdy gerdys and have regular meat auctions haha

I also have an odd fascination with abandoned places so i quite enjoyed seeing the 80/90's decor and such hence why i made the topic theres an esculator which leads to knowhere and the mens toilet is in complete darkness, i was gonna be brave and go for a piss there but i've already met one ghost and don't like playing with fire, theres also loads of rats up there and knowing my luck they would probably live in the bogs lol

haha yeah there is something eerie about places like that, there's quite a good thread about similar places on here somewhere.

But I warned you about the bogs mate...

I remember buying a pair of jeans there when I was a teenager- they literally started to disintegrate within a couple of days.
I know this is harsh but the exterior is an eyesore and is practically the first thing you see when you step off the train at Lime St. A 70s horror. What do others think?
