Of course, there are exceptions, but they should be just that. I don't think actions on the sports field should be treated the same as those off of the field. As of now, I believe the law treats it as such. The only way the law will be brought into this is if Hohaia complains, and it sounds like he's fine with what went on and is treating it as part of the game.

It happens sadly, but thankfully it doesn't happen all that often. I remember this from Morley a decade ago, and indeed the hit by Cassidy on Morley a few years before that. Brutal stuff, but you can't go arresting players for it.





pretty much every clip you've put up (apart from the NSW fella) are all incidents during play. Flowers was totally different, he punched in a calculated manner a person who was already out cold. Not saying the law should be involved but in no way are these incidents comparable

Of course, and the punishment isn't comparable to what has gone before.
